Our Food

To classify Markus’ cooking has always been hard. When people ask what kind of food we specialize in they are expecting answers that encompass the whole menu like “Asian Fusion”, “French”, “Italian”, or something super trendy like, “West coast contemporary cuisine”. Unfortunately we can’t give one word to classify our menu. How do classify a Panna cotta that transports you back 20 years ago to your summer vacation in Italy where you had your first kiss from a handsome Italian boy? Or how do you linguistically define the best meal you have ever had in your life, on your 85th birthday? You can’t define the emotional flood gate that Markus’ food opens.

Out in the dining room, us servers see time and time again couples falling back in love as they eat Markus’ food in the romantic ambience of our restaurant. The flavors of his dishes are balanced, fresh and expertly prepared. Non- trendy, classical training, with local fresh ingredients, and disciplined creativity are combined in dishes that will keep you coming back again and again.
